The Basque Block is one of Idaho’s most compelling examples of conservation and documentation of a living ethnic neighborhood. Located downtown between Capitol Boulevard and 6th Street on Grove, the Basque Block is comprised of two historic boardinghouses, the Basque Center, the Basque Museum & Cultural Center, Bar Gernika, Leku Ona, and the Basque Market among other businesses.

However, we also recognize and love all the other Basque communities and organizations around the West so will work to share information about them as well - truly Auzolan, the concept of neighborly cooperation!
